JPG to PDF Guide
This JPG to PDF converter is built for private, browser-based document creation. When you choose images, they stay on your device and are read by your browser so the page can preview, order and embed them into a new PDF. There is no upload form, server storage or background API call.
For best results, use clear images with reasonable dimensions. The Auto page size keeps each PDF page close to the image shape, while A4 and Letter are better for printing or sharing. Fit mode keeps the full image visible. Fill mode can crop edges slightly because it fills the page area.
The tool is useful for students, freelancers and business users who need a quick image packet without installing software. Large batches can use more memory, especially on mobile, so the page shows a warning around 30 images and processes the final PDF only when you click generate.
Create a PDF Document, Not Just an Image Wrapper
A useful JPG to PDF tool should do more than place one image on one blank page. This tool lets the user choose a document purpose first, organize the source images and then control the page structure that will be shared, submitted or printed.

Ten Professional Image-to-PDF Layouts
Each template is a real settings preset rather than a decorative thumbnail. Selecting a template changes paper size, page orientation, images per page, margins, fit behavior, quality, captions, numbering and cover-page settings.
The final PDF remains editable inside the builder: users can switch templates without losing their selected images or captions.
Image Ordering, Rotation and Per-Image Placement
Multi-page image documents depend on correct sequence. Images can be reordered by dragging cards or sorted by filename, file date or orientation. Each card also supports rotation, duplication, removal, an editable caption and an individual fit or alignment override.
These controls are intended for the generated document only. They do not replace the separate Image Resizer or Image Compressor tools, which are designed to export modified image files.
Page Size, Orientation, Margins and N-Up Layouts
The page builder supports image-sized pages, A5, A4, A3, US Letter, US Legal, square and custom dimensions. Orientation can be automatic, portrait or landscape, and the user can place one, two or four images on each page.
Fit mode keeps the complete image visible. Fill mode covers the available page slot and may crop edges. Margins, alignment, page background and image borders provide additional control for printing and presentation.
Quality and File-Size Decisions
Original mode can embed supported JPG or PNG files directly when no visual adjustment requires re-encoding. Print and High presets prioritize detail, while Balanced and Small presets reduce very large dimensions and JPEG quality to create a more shareable PDF.
The displayed size is an estimate because image content compresses differently. The final generated PDF preview reports the actual browser-created file size.
Cover Pages, Captions, Numbering and Metadata
A cover page can include a title, subtitle and author. Image captions can use editable filename-based labels, while page numbers and a custom footer help organize longer submissions or records.
Optional PDF metadata includes title, author, subject, keywords, creator and filename. This information is stored in the downloaded PDF and should not contain sensitive data unless the user intends to share it.
Live Previews While You Work
The first-page preview stays visible while you work. Page setup has its own layout preview, image cleanup has a before-and-after preview, document structure has a cover-and-label preview, and the final step opens the actual generated PDF.
On mobile, the editor becomes a single column and fixed actions keep page counts, preview and PDF creation available without forcing the user back to the top.
Private Browser Processing
The selected images are decoded and embedded by JavaScript in the current browser tab using a locally hosted PDF library. The site does not upload image content or filenames to an external conversion service.
Local processing improves privacy but uses device memory. For very large photos or long batches, a desktop browser and a smaller output-quality preset can be more reliable than an older phone.

Supported JPG and PNG files can be embedded directly when no visual changes require re-encoding. Rotation, brightness, contrast, grayscale or WebP input require browser re-encoding.
Does the PDF contain searchable text?
No. It is an image-only PDF. Use a dedicated OCR workflow when searchable text is required.
Can I reopen my project later?
Download a project JSON file and import it later. The file can be large because it includes image data.
