Private visual PDF organizer
Build one correctly ordered PDF from complete files or individual pages
Review real page thumbnails, remove or rotate pages, add professional structure and preview the final PDF before downloading.
Step 1
Choose a professional merge workflow
Each template applies real ordering, structure, page-size and labeling settings.
Step 2
Add PDF files
Load complete PDFs locally. Exact duplicate files are flagged before merging.
No PDFs loaded yet.
Step 3
Organize individual pages
Drag page cards, select ranges, rotate, duplicate or remove pages before building the new PDF.
Real page thumbnails will appear here.
4Cover, contents and dividersAdd professional structure without another editor
5Page size, margins and labelsPreserve originals or normalize mixed documents
Normalizing pages renders each source page into a standard frame. Searchable text, links, forms and accessibility structure may be lost; preserve-size copy mode better retains source page objects.
- Searchable text: best preserved in original-size copy mode
- Digital signatures: merging normally invalidates them
6Metadata, naming and merge planPrepare a traceable, reusable output
Step 7
Review and create the merged PDF
The checker catches empty selections, duplicates, locked sources and risky preservation assumptions.
The final PDF preview and exact result size will appear here.

Merge Complete PDFs or Organize Individual Pages
A useful PDF merger should work at both document and page level. You can keep complete source files in order, or visually remove, rotate, duplicate and rearrange individual pages before creating one new PDF.
The page organizer is especially useful when a submission contains a cover document, main report and supporting attachments but only selected pages from each source are required.
Ten Professional Packet Templates
The templates are working merge configurations rather than decorative images. Application Packet adds formal structure, Monthly Archive inserts source dividers, Scanned Chapters normalizes mixed pages, Duplex-Ready prepares right-hand starts and Interleave Two PDFs alternates pages.
Every template remains editable. Selecting a template changes actual cover, contents, divider, page-size and labeling controls without discarding loaded pages.
Visual Page Order, Selection and Rotation
Real thumbnails make it possible to confirm content instead of relying only on filenames. Drag cards across sources, apply a page range, select odd or even pages, reverse the packet, interleave two documents or use precise move buttons on mobile.
Rotation is applied to the final output. Duplicating a page is useful for repeated instruction or signature pages, while removal excludes that page without changing the original file.
Cover, Contents, Dividers and Duplex Preparation
A cover page gives the combined document a clear identity. The contents page lists source documents, and source dividers make long archives easier to navigate. Custom blank and divider pages can also be inserted directly into the organizer.
Duplex preparation inserts a blank page only when necessary so each new source begins on an odd-numbered page. This is useful for booklets, formal reports and double-sided document packets.
Preserve Page Sizes or Normalize the Packet
Preserve mode copies supported source page objects at their original dimensions and is the best option when maintaining searchable text and page geometry is more important than visual consistency.
A4, Letter and Legal normalization create a consistent packet with configurable margins and contain-or-fill behavior. Because normalization rebuilds page placement, interactive elements should be checked in the final preview.
Page Numbers, Source Labels and PDF Metadata
Page numbers help reviewers refer to the final combined packet rather than the separate source page numbers. Optional source labels and footer text can identify where each page came from or mark the document as a draft, client copy or private file.
Title, subject, author, keywords, creator and output filename fields make the new PDF easier to identify in document-management systems and downloads.
Duplicate, Locked and Form-Aware Review
The tool compares complete source-file hashes and flags exact duplicate files before merging. It also warns about unreadable locked PDFs and offers a local password retry workflow where browser support allows it.
Supported form fields can be flattened when a stable visual record is more important than editability. Form fields, annotations, links, layers and signatures vary widely between PDFs, so the final packet must still be inspected.
Merge PDF versus Split, Compress and Convert Tools
Merge PDF produces one new PDF from existing PDF pages. Split PDF creates multiple PDF outputs, PDF Compressor reduces file size, PDF to JPG creates image files and JPG to PDF starts from images.
Keeping these intents separate prevents the organizer from becoming cluttered and helps users choose the correct workflow for the required final format.
Private Browser Processing and Practical Limits
Source PDFs, page images and passwords stay in the browser. The final file is created on your device without uploading the document to the website.
Large packets and high-resolution raster fallbacks can consume significant memory. Desktop browsers usually handle large jobs better than phones, and important packets should always be opened and checked after download.
Combine PDF Files and Organize PDF Pages
- Combine a cover letter, resume, certificates and references into one application packet.
- Build a monthly invoice archive with a contents page and divider before each source file.
- Merge selected pages from several reports while removing blank or irrelevant pages.
- Interleave front and back scan PDFs in A1, B1, A2, B2 order.
- Normalize mixed scan sizes into an A4 evidence or client-deliverable packet.
When to Combine PDF Files
- Professional application and submission packets
- Monthly financial or administrative archives
- Evidence, exhibit and supporting-document bundles
- Scanned chapters and mixed-size document collections
- Duplex print packets where each source should start on a right-hand page
- Interleaving two related PDFs page by page
PDF Preservation and Browser Limits
- Merging normally invalidates existing digital signatures because a new PDF file is created.
- Interactive forms, links, bookmarks, layers and accessibility structures may not survive every source PDF or normalization mode.
- Page-size normalization can rebuild source pages inside a standard frame and should be visually checked before sharing.
- Password-protected or damaged PDFs may require a readable local password or may only work through raster fallback.
- Very large page collections are limited by available browser memory, especially on mobile devices.
- The contents page lists source documents but is not a guaranteed interactive bookmark tree.
Merge PDF FAQs
Can I rearrange individual pages before merging?
Yes. Every readable source page appears as a visual card that can be dragged, moved, rotated, duplicated, selected or removed before the final PDF is created.
Can I merge only selected pages from each PDF?
Yes. Use page checkboxes, odd/even selection or a range such as 1-5,8,11-13, then arrange the selected pages in the required order.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. PDF reading, thumbnails, page organization and final PDF generation run inside your current browser tab.
Can the tool add a cover and contents page?
Yes. Professional templates can add a cover, source-based contents page, dividers, page numbers, source labels and footer text.
Will forms, links and bookmarks remain interactive?
Original-size page copying gives the best chance of preserving page objects, but not every interactive feature survives merging. Normalization and raster fallback can remove interactivity, so inspect the final preview.
What does duplex-ready mean?
The tool can insert blank pages when needed so the first page of each source document begins on an odd-numbered, right-hand page in double-sided printing.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Some protected PDFs can be opened locally when a valid password is supplied to the browser renderer. Encryption support varies, and unsupported files may need a raster fallback or an unprotected copy.
Does merging invalidate digital signatures?
Usually yes. Combining or rewriting signed PDFs creates a new document and existing digital signatures should be considered invalid.
Can I save the project and continue later?
You can download a merge-plan JSON containing settings and page references. Re-add the same source files before importing the plan because PDF bytes are not stored inside the JSON.
How is this different from Split PDF?
Merge PDF builds one new organized packet from several files or pages. Split PDF divides one or more PDFs into separate output files.
